Regular readers will remember that, back in September, Holborn Speakers had planned a workshop focusing on how we can brush up our skills when doing functionary roles in our meetings. Unfortunately, due to tube strikes and the like, this event was postponed.
I am pleased to let you know that it has now been re-scheduled for next Tuesday 6th November. It will be hosted by Bernard Miller of Holborn Speakers, one of the clubs most experienced, eloquent and witty speakers. It promises to be an evening full of fun and learning.
The evening is open to members of all clubs and is free. Guests are welcome to attend too. For beginners this is the perfect way to get good tips for doing roles. For experienced members it will be a good opportunity to share your thoughts and hear the thoughts of your fellow members on what works and what doesn't. Please download the flyer here:
