From Dave Sellman, Asst Div Gov - Training and Education
If you are interested in how great clubs become great and what is going on in Toastmasters in London and the South East, would you like to join a fabulous evening this coming Tuesday? Division B Governor, Freddie Daniells and David Thompson, former District Governor for UK and Ireland and the man who knows better than anyone what makes clubs great tick will look at questions such as:
- What strategies will helps retain members and provide opportunities for them?
- How can Presidents motivate and develop committee members and future leaders?
- In 12 months time, in what ways would you like club members and club to feel more successful as a result of their Toastmasters experiences?
- How can your Division best provide support and what we should focus on in the coming months?
While the event is targetted mainly at Club Presidents, if the content of the evening is of interest, you will be very welcome to join in. We would love to have people from Divisions B, G and H sharing thoughts, ideas, knowledge.
The event will start from 6.30pm on Tuesday 18th November with informal networking, followed by a 7pm core session until 8.30pm. Leaving plenty of time for more networking afterwards. The venue: the Cheshire Cheese pub near Temple tube station, the home of Excalibur Advanced Speakers.
