From Liz Hobbs
THE SECRET IS OUT! Up till now the best kept secret in Toastmasters – The High Performance Leadership Project.
The good news is it's a project where you choose what to do, set the vision and get other people to help you. It's a chance to practice the art of delegation. In the workshop we will look at specific ideas you could use as a project - how to find mentors - and help you understand how powerful your project can be.
It is not something that can be done in a hurry! You need to plan ahead! And….you have the opportunity to make a difference - at work, in Toastmasters, or elsewhere in your life, perhaps a charity
Sue Warner, DTM has helped start two Toastmasters clubs. Her High Performance Leadership programme was the launch pad for SpeakersBank which this year celebrates training 100,000 adults and young people in schools, charities and community groups.
Liz Hobbs, DTM recently completed her High Performance Leadership project by using a business project at work. She has supported another member of Tube Talk, Iain Duthie, who ran a Speechcraft programme for 14 graduate trainees.
Please join us. Learn and brainstorm ideas for your High Performance Leadership in a positive and interactive session. And remember..you'll get great personal benefits from your HPL plus the project is a key part of completing your Toastmasters Leadership track.
