From Andy O'Sullivan
As you may already be aware, Division B (London) is in the process of assessing its future structure through a process referred to as “Alignment”, so as to best support the sustainable growth of Toastmasters in the London area for the next 3-5 years and provide additional leadership opportunities.
The Alignment Committee has received feedback via the 1st Round of Consultation (thank you!) which has helped us formulate a proposal for your clubs, Areas and Division.
As we enter the 2nd Round of Consultation, the Alignment Committee is providing an opportunity for you to hear directly from the team, in an open session discussing this exciting proposal in depth. This interactive presentation will aim to walk through the analysis, decision making and ultimate conclusions of the Committee, as well as providing you the forum to express your views on the proposal.
A meeting for all London’s Toastmasters will take place on Wednesday 7th March at 7pm where the team would love to hear your thoughts. The venue for the meeting will be the downstairs function room of The Spectator (6 Little Britain, London, EC1A 7BX). The nearest tube station is St Pauls on the Central line.
Full details of the “Division B Alignment Proposal” will be published in advance of the meeting on TheLondonSpeaker.com for your review.
There will be plenty of time to discuss the plans and ask questions.
