Invite to Christmas with London Corinthians!

I have just had a wonderful invite from Kim Horner, President of London Corinthians, that is open to all of us in Division B. It is an open invite to join those madcaps at Corinthians for their Xmas dinner. I will let her explain:

Buckingham Suite, The Thistle Westminster Hotel, 49 Buckingham Palace Road, London, SW1W 0QT

London Corinthians cordially invites you to its annual Christmas dinner. This Christmassy, star-studded extravaganza, positively bursting with Corinthians’ talent, is an opportunity for everyone to let down their hair at the end of the year, all without being evaluated! Having fun is compulsory. 

MENU

Starter

* Soup of the day served with crusty warm bread

* Prawn and langoustine tails in a spicy Madeira and brandy marie rose sauce

* Rich venison and game terrine on a bed of pesto dressed rocket leaf salad with warm ciabatta

Main course

* Butter basted roast Norfolk turkey served with chipolatas and chestnut and apricot stuffing

* Fillet of salmon topped with leeks wrapped in a light puff pastry served with minted new potatoes and a creamy baby fennel sauce

* Creamy wild mushroom and asparagus risotto with shaved parmesan

Dessert

* Traditional Christmas pudding with brandy butter sauce

* Rich chocolate fudge cake with a raspberry crème fraiche

* Tropical fruit salad with a creamy Devon ice cream

* A selection of English cheeses Dunsyre Blue, Cornish Yarg, Somerset Brie,
Celtic Promise and Westcombe Cheddar

* Kenyan coffee or a selection of teas and herbal infusions served with
warm mince pies
