Contestants for the Division B final – a (very) few tickets still available

The contests are coming so thick and fast that Dorothea and I have fallen behind in posting the results of each of the Area finals. However, this Wednesday (ie today when most of you read this!) is the day of the final.

As such, I thought it worth updating everyone on who the contestants will be for the finals. They are:

International Speech Contest

Area 6 – Simon Bucknall, London Cardinals

Area 29 – Franco Vaccaro, Riverside Communicators

Area 31 – Agnieszka Rees, Citi Criers

Area 33 – Sarah Green, Broadgate Speakers

Area 34 – Ola Aralepo, Tube Talk

Evaluation Contest

Area 6 – Simon Bucknall, London Cardinals

Area 29 – Kerry-Anne Smith, London Trojans

Area 31 – Clive Broadbent, Canary Wharf Communicators

Area 33 – Julie Holness, London Communicators

Area 34 – David Bennett – Tube Talk

Note that Ola Aralepo and David Bennett are standing in for Jeremy Robinson (of Holborn) who had been going to represent Area 34. Jeremy’s wife is expecting to deliver a baby any second now (best of luck to them).

We have now sold over 180 tickets for the event which is fabulous. There are just a few tickets left so if you are thinking of coming please book your tickets now. Note that we cannot sell tickets on the door and ticket sales will close at 3pm. A link to the ticket purchase page is below:
