Imperial College Speakers - meeting weekly from January 2013

In a fitting conclusion to a successful first term back at Imperial College Speakers, we were visited by our beloved Area Governor, Ash Sethi. He who provided much widsom, insight and encouragement for us to mull over in preparation for the New Year, where we are moving to WEEKLY meetings!

This term has seen an impressive 38 new members sign up, who rose masterfully to the challenge of "interview-themed meetings", preparing assessment-style presentations with less than 24 hours notice of the topic, and delivering analytical and thoughtful evaluations far beyond their mere 1 month experience.

Our meetings will resume on Thursday 10th January, and we would like to welcome you to come and visit our club as a GE or a guest - we embrace any feedback you could provide to help us grow and mature.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have supported the club in the past - without you, we wouldn't be here today. 

I am personally obligated to express my gratitude, love and respect to the committee members, Yuki, Julius, Lynn, Michael, Bruno and Marc, who have given their heart and soul without hesitation, through the bad time and the good times - we have finally made it!

Merry Christmas to all and I look forward to seeing you in the New Year!
