Speech Contest Judges Training Workshop Saturday 2 March

A Speech Contest Judges Training Workshop is being held in Woking on Saturday afternoon 2pm-5.30pm

On 20 March 2013, WIBF Speakers Canary Wharf has its International Speech and Evaluation contests, taking place at the Credit Suisse offices in Canary Wharf.

Would you like the practice your judging skills in the vibrant atmosphere of our all-women’s Toastmasters club with a warm & friendly environment, and assist aspiring new TMs in the process?

The competition itself will follow International Speech Contest rules, so the judges should be familiar with the format.

We also require a mystery speaker.

Russian English Speakers Contest Night

On 18 March 2013 Russian English Speakers are having their first International Speech and Evaluation contests since chartering.

All of the proceedings will be in English and any Toastmaster is welcome to experience the vibrant atmosphere of this bilingual club.

The meeting takes place at KPMG's offices in Canary Wharf, registration from 18:30.

Urgent - can you help judge at The Orators - KPUM Public Speaking Championship 2013

Would you like the practice your judging skills outside of a Toastmasters environment, and assist an aspiring student community in the process?

In association with the Malaysian Law Students Union for UK & Ireland (KPUM), our organisation has been approached to help with their annual speaking contest, specifically by bringing experienced members to judge their contestants.

In return, the Students Union will promote Toastmasters to their members across the UK, providing us an excellent opportunity for exposure to this key demographic.

Details are as follows:

Date : Saturday, 23rd February
Time : 1.30pm briefing for 2pm start, finishing at 4pm
Location: Malet Place 1.02, University College London

Experience French - London's First French-speaking Toastmasters Club will be holding a meeting in English on Monday 25 February 25 at 6.30 pm in the Thiman Room, City Temple Conference Centre, Holborn Viaduct EC1A 2DE.

All will be welcome, especially if you fear that your 'school' French is not up to following one of our regular French speaking meetings. Our members love to deliver speeches and evaluations in English too. We pride ourselves on being able to switch between languages smoothly.

The club is only 4 months old but delivers the Toastmasters' programme to a high standard and we have been complimented on our Joie De Vie! Feel free to recommend us to your French-speaking friends and we look forward very much to welcoming you to our meeting!

I'm literally skint...I just literally can't be bothered..that's literally what I'd have said...I've literally got to get off the train...

Is "literally" the new filler word?  If so Grammarians you know what to do!
