Area 29 COT: Preconception versus Reality, 29 January

 ChucksCome and join us at the Area 29 Club Officer Training Evening.

An informative informal evening where like minded club officers will come together and network to discuss their roles in an relaxed environment.
 
There will be time for networking, mingling and meeting other club officers from other areas and other clubs. With snacks and light refreshment on offer courtesy of your Area Governor at the start of the evening. 
 
A night themed Preconception versus Reality, where we will endeavour to understand the reality behind your roles and not just our initial preconceptions of the roles we have taken on.
 
On the night we aim to:
 
Demystify the complexities within each role.
 
Decipher the practical aspects of your specific role.
 
Deliver plausible solutions to the various challenges you face in your designated roles.
 
The basic structure and format of the evening will be one of club officers being separated into their specific roles where discussions amongst themselves will be encouraged, predominantly centring around their biggest challenge.
 
Then presenting to the room as a whole this specific challenge and in response the other groups of club officers will respond in kind by offering solutions for them to practically implement back at their clubs.
 
Taking place upstairs at the Hop Poles Pub, King Street Hammersmith. Arrive for 7.15pm to start promptly at 7.30pm and to finish at 9.00pm.
