Area 47 Evaluation and International Speech Contests - results

The results of Area 47''s contests were:

International Speech Contest winner - Daphne Furlonge (Northern Lights)

Evaluation Contest winner - Andrew Tollington (LBS Public Speaking Club)

It was a very enjoyable evening with some excellent speeches and evaluations.  Many thanks to all our contestants, judges and functionaries for helping the evening go so smoothly, especially contest chairs James Del Gatto and Rona Harding, chief judge Monica Liljeroth and mystery speaker David Cheng. 

And a big thank-you to London Business School for providing such an excellent venue for the contest.

Next year's Area Director Dudley Flynn was nominated and approved by the Area 47 Council. We look forward to working with him.

Our winners go through to the Division L contests on Saturday 28 March.
