From Cat Kipling, President Excalibur Speakers
Meetings are a vital communication tool. They produce understanding, eliminate confusion, generate ideas, stimulate action, clarify goals and objectives, define roles and responsibilities, solve problems and disseminate information.
Come along to work with David Lennon, a former Financial Times journalist, to try to improve your meeting techniques at his Workshop:"How to Conduct Productive Meetings" from the Toastmasters Successful Leadership Series.
David (ACS, ALB) has been with Toastmasters since 2006 and is a Past President of London Communicators and a former VP Membership of Excalibur.
We also have George Chiesa delivering a workshop on"Parliamentary Procedure in Action", which looks at putting forward motions, points of info, points of order, etc., which are essential for formal meetings such as AGMs...and even a Toastmasters District Council Meeting!
George (ACG, ALB) has also been with Toastmasters since 2006 and is currently Area Governor for Area 6, Division B.
