From Giovanna Vasaturo, Experience French
Who knows? But if you attend the 'Exceptional Evaluations workshop' your chances will certainly increase! The proof? In 2013 Eddie O'Hanlon arrived 2nd in the District finals. Have a guess who his mentor was? Yes, that's right. Our very own host, Freddie Daniells.
You may say “but the contest is in spring 2016” and may want to procrastinate. Well, it is up to you, however, the winner is already training as we speak.
You may be thinking “I am not really interested in competing and evaluations are not my thing”. Think again!
During the workshop we'll learn:
- critical thinking,
- observation,
- how to achieve clarity of thought that allow you to deliver a fully developed short speech that:
- enriches you,
- helps the audience to understand and appreciate the speaker's skills and
- enhances the qualities of the person you are evaluating.
Take our advice: 2 November is the perfect time for you to start your preparation and to accelerate your growth and your success!
Contribution: £3.00 for Experience French Members and £5.00 for non members, to be paid at the door.
Light refreshments will be offered as it is to be expected in a French club ;)
So come along to the 'Exceptional Evaluations Workshop' by Freddie Daniells on 2 November 2015 at 18.45pm at the Fitzrovia Community Centre – 2 Foley Street, London W1W 6DL (Goodge Street is the closest tube).
