Area 47, Contest and Area Director Election Results

Area 47 had a fantastic International Speech and Evaluation Contest last night 6 April at CB&I offices in Paddington so a special thank you to them and in particular their President Jess Caballero.  

With 5 participants in each contest we followed the seemingly unorthodox approach of holding the Evaluation Contest first.

Area 47 Eval winner 2016We were especially appreciative of Kavita Dulai who had to fight against an uncooperative London underground to get to the club on time and then delivered a charming and vivid story as our Mystery Speaker.

Special congratulations also go to Jake O’Gorman who after the evaluation contest was elected as the new Area Director for Area 47. I personally would like to wish him all the best for the upcoming Year.
