Division B and K are very excited to announce the organisation of London’s first ever Toastmasters Leadership Institute. This day long event open to all will feature club officer training sessions and workshops for members to improve their leadership skills. COT sessions in the morning will cover the following topics:
- Teambuilding & teamwork for club committees
- How to create a quality club
- Effective planning and goalsetting for success
The main theme of the afternoon’s workshops will be practical leadership skills that can be applied in any situations. This includes:
- Talk the Talk Evaluations & Feedback with D91 Evaluation Champion Ga Lok Chung
- Decision making made easy with the Standard Agenda technique
- How to communicate effectively in conflict situations
- Strategies for resolving various types of conflicts
We’ve secured an amazing venue, the Wesley Hotel near Euston to host us for the whole day. COT sessions will take place between 10h and 12h, followed by workshops from 13h15 until 16h45. Your contribution is only £5 and you can book your place here.
Club Officers will need to attend a minimum of two COT sessions to gain training credit and be refunded their contribution.
