Attend Division B Workshops & Contests - 8 Oct

TMI logo 125 hiAll Toastmastes are invited to attend Division B Workshops & Contests this Saturday in Victoria. Once again we’ll open the stage to you in our morning speakfest. You will be given 5 minutes to speak on whatever you want as well as a chance to get some feedback.

Two excellent workshops have be arranged:

Leadership and change management expert Jean Gamester will present a workshop on succession planning & long-term leadership.

Trained actress and international presenter Nicola Dhillon will be sharing us her expertise on how to build a strong connection with your audience and feel confident at the same time.

In the afternoon, we’re excited to have 2011 UK & Ireland Humorous Speech champion Ola Aralepo to open the events with a keynote speech “An Heroic Act” to inspire us how to become better and wittier speakers. 16 Contestants from all over West London will then take part, 8 in the Humorous Speech Contest and 8 in the Table Topics Contest. Come and support them as they vie for the crown of West London Humorous Speech champion or Table Topics champion!

A delegation of Toastmasters from China keen to see London’s best in action will be joining us too!

Morning activities will start at 9:30 sharp. Contests will begin at 13:30. Book an all-day ticket to come and go as you want! The action is taking place in DoubleTree Hilton Victoria, in 2 Bridge Place.
