Workshop: How to write a prepare a great speech when you have NO TIME to prepare

London Victorians is excited to welcome our Regional Advisor, Toastmasters International (Region 11), Aletta Rochat on Tuesday 7 November 2017 for a workshop. Do you sometimes find yourself having to prepare speeches and presentations with little time to spare? Then this workshop is for perfect you!

This interactive workshop will be incredibly empowering. During this workshop, you will learn how to structure your thoughts so that you make a good impression with the minimum time to prepare. You’ll do so by following a speaking palette that will help you clearly define your topic, give your audience a reason to care and persuade them to take action.

Aletta Rochat is a professional speaker, executive speech coach, trainer and author based in Cape Town, South Africa. Her past clients included the Body Shop, Tech Lab Africa and Medecins Sans Frontières.

This free workshop will be held on Tuesday 7 November from 18h30 onwards in London Victorian’s venue of St James the Less Church, Vauxhall Bridge Road next to Moo Cantina Argentina.

Workshop: Speaking to Inspire

Beckenham Communicators will be welcoming Toastmasters International Region 11 Advisor (Europe, Middle East and Southern Africa), Aletta Rochat on Thursday 9 November 2017. If you want to learn how to speak in a way that inspires others to take action come along to this workshop!

During this workshop you’ll learn the key elements of inspirational speeches by using a palette covering the eight most important elements that you can use to trigger action when seeking to inspire others. Learn how to personalise your speech in a way that makes the listeners feel unique. Discover how charismatic listening can contribute to your success by providing space for your audience to share stories with you. Find out how you can project a vision where audience members can see pictures they themselves are immersed in.
