After 8th August 2018 Tube Talk will no longer meet at Templar House, 81-81 High Holborn as TfL’s access to this building ended on 10th August 2018. The club has relocated to Victoria Station House in Victoria.
We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
Guests are always welcome to attend, just send us an email. You do not need to be a TfL employee nor work for TfL to visit our club, come and see what our club can do for you.
All future meetings from 22nd August 2018 will be at our new location. We meet every 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month. Arrive 6pm for 6.15pm prompt start, everyone welcome.

Wherever you stand on an issue, it's worth trying to discover what the people you disagree with are thinking and why they think that way. In a club debate--whatever the topic--we seek to develop a case for and against the proposal.
The UK Home Office "hostile environment" policy was designed to make staying in the UK difficult for those who entered the country illegally and for those who overstay without leave to remain, in the hope that they may "voluntarily leave". According to Theresa May in 2010, "The aim is to create, here in Britain, a really hostile environment for illegal immigrants". [Wikipedia]
Some people blame this policy for the so-called "Windrush Scandal". Others maintain that since the policy applies only to those violating UK immigration laws that it's right and proper to maintain it.

St Paul’s Speakers is proud to welcome Ola Aralepo to our club on Wednesday 29 August 2018 for who will deliver a Workshop on Humorous Speaking.
Ola, District 91’s reigning Humorous Speaking Champion, will break down the mechanics of how humour can be injected to any speech.
With the Club Humorous Speech Contests taking place in September, St Paul’s welcomes guests from other Clubs who wanting to gain further advice and inspiration ahead of their club competitions.

It's not just for politicians in Parliament. People don’t realize that they’re debating all the time. Some of these debates are more important than they seem.
