Toastmasters Leadership Institute - Saturday 23rd Feb - in Reading - register now!

Workshops will run from 10am-4pm. Location: Wycliffe Baptist Church, King's Road, Reading,  RG1 4LS.  Fast trains go from Paddington and you can walk to the venue from the station.


TM leadership InstituteThe Toastmasters Leadership Institute is a great opportunity for you to ramp up your own Toastmasters experience, learn and refresh, network and make new acquaintances and friends. Trained club officers are the best predictor of club success and an opportunity for new club leaders to make their mark and to take responsiblity for their own leadership path.

The event is free of charge and tea/coffee/buffet lunch will be provided.

Among our speakers is a fellow Area Director, Bret Freeman who is an expert on mentoring, Helena Brewer, Division Director is talking about life beyond the club, Seema Menon, D91 PR Manager is presenting a slot on PR and I am speaking about being a great Toastmaster of the Evening (TME).

We’re also feeding people so what better excuse to spend a Saturday with us? :-)

Look, why would you ever say no to meeting nice people and learning something new, or rediscovering something that you have forgotten.

We are having a special COT with an hour long session on Pathways, with plenty of time for Q&A’s
Pathways is still something that a lot of us are struggling to get to grips with, so this will be worthwhile attending just for this session

19:15 – Arrivals / Registration

19:30 - Opening by Area Director

19:30 - Session 1: Pathways - 60 Mins - Adrian
             Interactive Pathways session, session broken with Q&A 

Break - 10 Mins

20:40 - Session 2: Reflections (aka MOT) – 30 Mins- Ramesh/Amparo/Nike
            Introduction to session - Ramesh
            Breakout into groups, by role
            Highlights of findings by Area

21:10 – Session 3: Mentoring - 15 Mins
21:25 – Wrap up
